Hi there.
I think when EC shutdown, I said that no plugins from EC’s Faction server will be distributed, but that may change 😛
So with the Faction server, we used basic plugins
1. Factions
2. Economy
3. World Guard
and some other basic plugins.Dungeons was hand built + command blocks + dropper system
Achievements was custom built by our beloved maxminos <3
Jetpack was custom coded
CombatLog was custom coded
Luckyblock was custom coded by meeeeeFull List
1. Action Health used for mobs and player healths
2. Auctions: for auctions 😛
3. BattleArena: used for the 1v1 pvp battles
4. Coreprotect: rollback and block logging
5. Essentials: who doesn’t need that
6. Faction Chat: for ally, truce, etc chat
7. Faction Mobs: the cool mobs
8. GroupManager: mod roles and the cook ranks you guys had 😛
9. holographicDisplay: spawn holos and special tutorial ones
10. INfoBoardReborn: the right side bar where it shows rank, balance, faction, et c11. Killrewards: the plugin that did the money for mobs killed
12. mcMMO for the skills and etc
13 mythic mobs: custom built mobs that we used? for boss I think (dungeons)
14. player Vaults: player vaults
15. Obsidian Destroyer: so water and obsidian can be broken
and bedrock?
16. Playerheads: so yall can get them cool luckyblocks
17. ShopKepper: villager shopsWorld Border, World Guard, World Edit
Some games like PUBG are more realistically based, but in my honest opinion, I do not see any correlation to the increase of school shooting. Although a game involves guns, there is a lot to operating a gun. Recoil, adding attachments, ammo, reloading, and etc. This part isn’t taught in the popular games that kids play. The only thing kids learn or experience is the fun of shooting other players with a weapon.
But again, we have a game called “Active Shooter.” This one focuses in the environment of a school and literally teaches kids to shoot up a school. Like this type of game is something that should not be allowed. Big thanks to Valve for taking action.

It’s like a trend where people teens find it funny and don’t take it seriously. It’s more of being cool when someone says “I’m going to shoot up the school.” The culture around this is messed up.
The last issue is that there are a lot of teens are going through a lot and don’t express themselves. Some build up anger and releases it with a form of violence. Teachers and other parents need to talk with their kids and have an open communication with each other, or else some develop diseases, depression, or a motive to cause harm since they are trouble and don’t have someone leading them to the right place.

I’d probably still have Faction map up in drive somewhere.
Factions just never implemented a policy to release any map downloads of any sorts. Maybe I’ll find it and see what wonders are left

Enforcing farming and building laggy structures is bad.
Instead, give players money for being active. Give the X amount of money per X minutes. (a simple afk kicker can solve afkers if you don’t want those)
Vote daily for some money. Also, enable money for killing mobs.
This way, the economy isn’t rigged and you actually need to work for it. There can be spawner farms, but they cannot get out of control.

1gb of ram is very efficient to run a lot of things. Very very efficient. I guess most of you guys are blinded by the fact that survival used 12gb of ram. This is due to massive drawbacks of high memory plugins, vase amount of plugins, maps, and overload of other files. The lag spikes were due to poor optimization which can be caused by one single plugin. as from prior experience, factions never use over 5gb ram (very little compared to survival). 5gb is the number that I can ASSURE that we never passed, but the real amount was probably 3gb?. I personally have been testing a lot of stuff on 1gb servers and they handle perfecttly fine. The host I have has no lag, no lag spikes, and I optimize my plugins properly. As said, I do mess around with lots of TNT. do massive world edit and etc. An example is Ec’s Mod server. It’s simply 512mb of ram (1/2 a gigabyte of ram) and that server ran perfectly fine. 1gb isn’t very too little.
