    No skills you have good intentions, I understand that.

    Good intentions won’t cure lag, and neither will removing my farm.

    You say the lag is fixed, yet skills says he’s got to destroy my farm near /warp adck anyway.

    His intent isn’t the issue, his action are, my town is one third the size it used to be due to rules that were implemented in the past year, all in the name of curing lag, this month its all farms, next month what will the new cure for lag be?
    It’s only a matter of time until the new as yet unwritten rules reduce my town to dust, I’d rather be able to say to myself “that I built that town, and then destroyed it” rather than say “I let skills ruin everything I ever made”

    Thanks guys, I’m leaving because of the constant destruction of my town, even though its supposed to be protected from such things by the admins and plugins.

    First the fake upkeep rules forcing me to abandon 50% of my town to wilderness, including /warp Utopia which I captured in order to preserve, and /warp north which I paid $20 USD for.

    But that wasn’t enough, no, the “no outpost” rule forcing me to abandon even more of my town.

    But that wasn’t enough, no, then there was the removing all the villagers thing, villagers I spent millions on.

    But that wasn’t enough, no, then the farm I spent 2 years building -and countless hours- was removed. A farm I didn’t even use myself, a farm I built for the server to attract more players and make it easier to get money.

    All of these were removed to “fix the lag” none of them did.
    Are they replaced when they didn’t fix the lag? No.

    I will be abandoning Blue_Sky_Mines when my donor runs out, Since I’d rather destroy the town myself rather than letting skills do it.
    I am only destroying it because skills has left me no other choice.

    Born if you truly appreciate everything I’ve done, you’ll protect my town from skills instead of destroying it.

    And it will ruin the landscape, farms that once covered 1 plot will now have take up 9 plots, towns will be like 90% farm, 10% residential.

    And then there’s the auto-farms, I fail to see how having 9 plots with a constantly running redstone clock & circuit would be less laggier than 1 plot doing the same but with 8 less clocks, because each plot will need an individual clock to ensure maximum efficiency as clocks won’t work in unloaded chunks.

    Very well then, I request my farm be completely removed, but not moved or converted into items, as both are worthless to me, but instead converted into cash, here is the invoice:

    6080 pistons @ $350 ea: $2128000
    6080 glowstone @ $30 ea: $91200
    12160 dirt @ $1 ea: $12160
    12160 cobblestone @ $10 ea: $121600
    6080 water @ $1 ea: $6080
    6080 watermelon seeds @ $35 ea: $212800
    * 100 hours labor for construction at $50 (real world USD) per hour: $5000 USD, converted into EC dollars as per donor ($1USD = $100000EC) = $500000000

    TOTAL: $502,571,640

    The loss of an iconic server landmark is priceless though, how many players have come through my melon farms doors over the years? Countless hundreds. The farm should be replaced with some equivalent monument.

    The loss of income is estimated at $50000 per day, this is without me even using the farm, as the farm attracted people to my town, and to my shop.

    That is unfortunate, you also did not answer my question are farms only allowed between 0 (ground level) to 30 or is it bedrock to 30?

    I can’t see myself sticking around after this, it is a bad change.

    And like all the other “will fix the lag” solutions over the past year – it may work for a few days, but in the long run it is a band-aid solution.

    I like this idea, I was thinking you would get 5×5 chunks per package to either move OR flatten OR regenerate to wilderness depending on your choice, nothing overpowered like spawning in a free melon farm or a chunk full of diamond blocks of course.

    Yeah, I think I’m going to try and replicate some of those buildings / pixel art in my town. While I suck at making things on my own it’s pretty easy to copy another building.

    The problem is that even when it’s legitimately someone’s brother who breaks the rules, that because of the thousands of fake #ITSMYBRO appeals it’s not going to be taken seriously. It’s like “The boy who cried wolf”.

    Also, sometimes you have to realize that as an older brother you have a responsibility to your siblings not just in real life, but in gaming too.

    lwc can be buggy at times, I usually find that if lwc bugs a container it’s best to move the container to a new position, and never ever use the coordinates for the bugged container again cause the problem will likely return as lwc is coordinates based.

    Hmm… I wonder how much donor time I’ve bought, as it only shows my current donor, and not my donor run from last year. It would be interesting to see.

    Um… EC doesn’t use Spigot, it uses Craftbukkit.

    Correct me if I’m wrong. (fairly sure I’m not.)

    Good Riddance!

    Donor Fraud is the worst possible crime on EC.

    He is stealing real world money directly from the servers finances by doing that, his actions make real donors like myself and Xavier look bad. Not only that, it makes future donors think, “Hey, why should I donate money if people can get the same results for free?”
    Actions like his could possibly put the future of the server in jeopardy, as without donations from players the only way born could pay for the server would be from his own pocket, and why would he do that for a bunch of people looking to steal from him?

    FirePower is the scum of the earth, he is quite literally stealing from a non-profit organization. There was a time when people were executed for doing that. He doesn’t deserve your pity or you saying you’ll miss him, he deserves to be on the wall of shame with the other ones.

    The bukkit dev team has been really lacking since dinnerbone and crew became official minecraft devs.

    Had plenty of time to work on the 1.7 version of bukkit months before 1.7 was released with the dev versions, but instead they wait until weeks after release before they even begin working on it.
