The server will be releasing either today (12/24/2016 PST) or tomorrow (12/25/2016) PST. The ip is mceternalcraft.serv.nu .
For now, our server will be in BETA phase. BETA means we will be missing quite a bit of gameplay features such as unique events (dodgeball, rush, etc.) and you may encounter inconsistencies or bugs.
Features right now:
-Fully functioning mob arena with classes
-/warp new – A quiz that you will have to take when you first join the server. It will tell you all the basic information you need.
-Regular towny gameplay exactly like before EC shut down. Towns will cost $7,500 to make for this first week. Upkeep will be $500 a day. Nations will cost $25,000 and upkeep will be $2,500 a day for the first month.
-Mob prices are significantly lower at only around $10 for killing mobs
-Crop prices are around $2 – $4 per crop
-Easy enchant so you can put on specific enchants by doing /ee
-XP bank to store levels
-1% tax if you have less than $25,000; 2.5% tax if you have $25,000 to $75,000; 5% tax if you have $75,000 or more
-Regular shops are set up if you ever need to buy materials
-/warp pvp
-/warp mobparty will be open if anyone wants to fight the wither

-Donor ranks, donor mob arena classes, and donor shop will be done before EC full release
-Dynmap – We will most likely be able to set this up before server releases. If not, the day after server releases.
-Guide book both in English and Spanish
-Crackshots and custom items

-Discord/teamspeak
-PvP Hill
-Second or even third mob arena
-More secret shops
-One secret game changer feature

WTF 5% tax over $75,000??? When did EC become a socialist state?? I hope that people who donate to the server will be exempt from this BS.
5% of 75k or more. That’s only 3750, it will encourage you to keep playing. If you have 100k thats only 5000, which can be made in 20-ish minutes,

^That’ll only make others just quit the Server. I’m sure people don’t have all day to play on one Server.

Did we ever get any answer on if donators are immune to the tax? I play a very economic based game (anyone who remembers The China Shop and my farms will understand this). If I am getting stuck with a 5% tax that kills my play style. Saying it is only $5k if you have $100k is easy but what about $1 million? You lose $50k a day because you work hard or run a shop?
Why both participating in the economy of if you are crippled because of a tax? I miss a few days and suddenly I have lost 10-15-20% of my hard work?
Not worth the time. This economy will be easy to control because you won’t have one.
