As someone who’s been to NYC, the trains are loud, dirty, and not too reliable. Go to Japan (or China) for some great trains. Just like…look up Japan trains and they’re sooooo beautiful!!!!
Japan and China also have hovering trains that go the speed of small airplanes, like Wither said, which I would consider to be beyond awesome (Japan’s is faster by 100 km/h hehehehehe)

As jwidja said, including more information in your mod app definitely increases your chances. Try looking at other, accepted mod apps for an example of how much to write. A paragraph or two is standard for the long questions at the end.
