What? Fire Cannot Be Used On Emerald Ore?

Why? I just bought a lot of emerald ore and now it cannot be combined with fire?

Fire can only be used on gold and iron ore, long time ago it was available on diamond and emerald ore, but it was too Op… So only Gold and Iron ore. I prefer using it on gold ore

To make it clear, we already decided that fire can only be used with Iron and Gold ores. Why? Because they’re not fortunable. In other hand, you can use Fortune pickaxe to multiply Diamonds and Emeralds. You can get the Fortune pickaxe from Crates. Have fun
