That egg was probably the gun from /kit daily.
Many factors can play in this and since that item was a crackshot, it could be a possible bug. There could have been too much entity, or the chunks nearby crashed due to crackshot .-.
This is the first case that we ever had this bug, and Im interested to know more. If it happens again, comment below.

It caused me combat luck but luckily for me i waited a few seconds and then i closed my minecraft, when i came back i was still alive…
@Igra2002 i think ur machine was too hot. It happens to me sometimes when my pc is too hot and i break blocks. Get a cooling mat or play in a cool place.

If this is what I think it is then I was online, and it said igra2002 was shot by a skeleton, this was in spawn right?
