Report possible Xrayer

From what he said, he told me there is a spider spawner right under one of the road in my town, so I decided to dig down and guess what? really a Spider Spawner about 10 blocks away from where he said will be. So I am reporting this because I think he might have used Xray.
But the thing is when I asked him if he used Xray, he denied. So I wonder how is this possible.

ok so here is the coordinates
The position he said got spawner: X: -3047 Z: 3776
(He told me the information on the surface, then he stood at the surface at the above coordinate saying there is a spawner under that location)The actual position of the spawner: X: -3040 Z: 3774 (at around Y=30)

BTW in the first picture I said “go /t spawn and then walk straight”, I thought he was asking me the location of our town’s Spider farm.
Just to avoid confusion
I’ll pass this onto the Admins to deal with, as I don’t want to judge this myself, and I can’t really make and judgements off of it. Thanks for your effort, Dragon!
If he indeed used Xray, please tell me.
Because those loots and spawner will become “corrupted” and must be destroyed.
The loot is good as well – 3 nametags, 4 saddles. But if he did use Xray, then I have to destroy all these.
OK I discussed with ClockSpeed. He may found it through some chunk loading. probably he was lagging so hard that chunk cannot render, so exposing all the ores and dungeons.
But I will run a couple more tests to confirm if he really did use Xray.
