Hey, it’s hypersquirrel2, it’s been some time since i made a thread here, but whatever.
I want to bring up something that’s bothering alot of people on EC, i believe this is on all the servers, and not only on for example on Survival.
I think something should be done about this, i’m not sure if i’m the only one who thinks this way, but it’s getting really annoying.
After all.. EC is an english Hub / Server.

Tons of people not speaking english, all i see is Turkish, and other languages ni chat..

It’s not everyday you see a fellow english guy.

Any uncommon languages should be done through /msg instead.

there is always /noenglish, but not all those people use it.

We can’t just shut out non-English players in my opinion, that’s completely discriminatory. Sure, we can have them in their own chat channel, but blocking them out completely is just wrong. They’re humans, we’re humans, everyone should be treated equally.

Think if it was a non-English server, and English players came on, and the non-English players banned the English players, it’d make the English players feel bad.

In Prison, there has been a system for staffs to force someone to join the /noenglish chat. It can probably implemented in other servers as well.
The only problem is, we cannot force 100% of them to join the channel since staffs are not online 24×7. So for now, nothing can be done about it other than forcing as much players as we can to join the /noenglish chat

Besides, on survival and prison, towny chat is used, so on survival, it’s a piece of cake to get out of the channel, and on prison, if they have a town, they can also get out.
