AnonymousGood Mid-Umbreon o’ Clock People! I have been asking the mods for this and seems like that is impossible, so heres my version of this: Progress (As of 5th July 2015): Hub: (After the last server updates) Survival: Currently in 1.7.10. Planned to reset and update in End-July… Creative: Updated to 1.8.7 on 3rd July 2015. Prison: Updated to 1.8.7 on 4th July 2015. Factions: Updated to 1.8.7 on 21st June 2015. Minigames: Updated to 1.8.7 on 28th June 2015. What exactly is the point of this topic..?
AnonymousI know i was a bit too late, but yeah, the mods should update us on the updates… Use this for 1.9 next time
AnonymousUpdate: There are no changes to the server at this moment
 AnonymousUpdate: No new updates now.
AnonymousUpdate: There is still no update!
AnonymousUpdate: I forgot the exact date when Survival resets… Uhm, pretty sure you’ll notice when a server is updated, because when you join and you get that lovely message saying ‘client outdated, …’ I’m pretty sure you know what to do. This is a useless topic. Attention given, grats.
AnonymousYou should have done this earlier, hard to keep track of the updates… Better do this for 1.9… Thank you! Most of the updates are notified on the forums front page. I’d do it, but I got no permission to do so. Fyi you can view old notifications from the forum home wall, should be a button there somewhere. Try it, buttons are fun to press. Some are pointless tough.
AnonymousIk, but 1 post is better than 5 separate posts, hard to find all 5… That’s because not all servers update at once, and if it’d be one forum post it wouldn’t take long before it’s gone from the wall on the left and hardly anybody even finds it again, so..
AnonymousBut some people would want to see it, because they could have missed the update… Also an ‘update meter’ would be the solution for this… Tsh, if you can’t find the update notifications, you’ll notice it soon enough that it’s updated when again that outdated client message pops up, it’s really cool. I don’t see any problem. Also I highly doubt that that meter thing will live for longer than a month. After some time it’ll be forgotten and it’ll disappear deeply into the history of EC. Like many things.
AnonymousBut, in the case of 1.8, it takes just 1 month to update all 5 server branches, just enough time… The thing is, i always play with the latest version, so i cant tell whether the server has updated or not…
