My computer was bought in May 2014 so I have no problems with lag
Not joking, my fps is better WITHOUT Optifine, my game crashed with Optifine even at maximum lag reducing options. 1.8 is fun, but lags, let us hope Microsoft does something about it.
I think that we should give 1.8 a try once again. Because way in last year Born, made the server run on 1.8 and we all started to have big probs…
But now that we got the server better I think we should give it a shot and this will make the servers much much more better and seeing new blocks and items is a go thing for SV / Prison.Should Faction, run on 1.8?
Well.. If the server runs on 1.8 why not run the same thing.Use 1.8.3,NO LAG AT ALL
I have a mediocre laptop, and I run 1.8 quite smoothly actually. I notice no difference in lag between 1.7 and 1.8.
I would really love to see the server with 1.8 content, would be awesome to have some slimeblock and armor stand creations, and the new command block stuff… O.O
Although, as always, we need to make sure all the plugins are up to date and stuff. So yer.
eh it would benefit, but it is a bit laggy, probably still buggy, even tho it is at 1.8.3. optifine probably fixes lag issues, but me, including others would lag, either way. I would say, prepare for a 1.8 update, for it will come one day. but right now? i feel is a bit too early.

I don’t experience lag, the availability of new blocks/potions/mobs, potentially better-looking skins (I say potentially, based off of whether people put effort into them), better-looking natural terrain, the possibility of even better builds…
Definite vote-up from me, now that I’ve had some thoughts on this.
well i really like the armor stands so plz make EC 1.8 fully compatible
I might open up a test 1.8 server to test the lag. But
1.8 has amazing features
It might be better if server upgraded to 1.8
now someone said skins wont show to cracked people, well im ok with that, since ITS NOT FAIR that i buy a game and another guy came and downloaded the game for free and he can insert skins in game, play etc… (except joining premium servers, but those who arent premium are cool too ._.)
Anyways i’ll like the server to upgrade to 1.8, it has cool features

I think the server should update to 1.8
New features like potions, bunnies, guardians, banners, etc. And benefits for Wither: /summon LightningBolt

And yeah it should update to 1.8 and reset everythyng
1.8.4 fixed many many bugs and i recomment you to use it
