This is a tough issue i’ve been dealing and yet no one has minded my entire problem. My original topic?! Wasted. So here is my issue, if I log in, it works but as soon as I join one of the servers it says “Kicked whilst connecting to [insert server name here]: PROTOCOL ERROR” and I can’t move then it disconnects me with Read Timed Out. As soon as I log in once more, it gives me this [Disconnected by Server] null. Then I login again and now another kick message appears in my chatbox saying. “Kicked whilst connecting to [insert server name here]: SAME NICK ALREADY IS PLAYING”. What the hell?! Then this entire thing loops once more but occassionally instead of protocol error, its now something like “Google CommonBase entityId something something bla bla bla”. Could someone help me?! I’ve been having this problem since Sunday. I basically made another topic because all those ignoramuses there just ignored my original topic like trash. So, uh, HALP!

I have the exact same problem too. I’ve also realized that once you hit a sign you can walk around and break everything as if you were lagging, but if you are in the lobby and didn’t try to connect to a server yet then everything work normally.

Well, I found the problem, turns out it was one of my mods conflicting the game. I just downloaded EC client and it gave me a new .jar.

I’m thinking firewall, or some other connection issue, and not necessarily a mod issue, although I may be wrong.
