TheHighOreo temped banned my ip for 30 mins b/c i was telling my friends my own private server in my own TC and thehighoreo banned me i only wanted to play some games with them and this is wat happened. Thehighoreo does not deserver a mod rank.i want to see wat the EC community thinks. and ik that is advertising all i wanted to do was play with some friends is that so wrong that i have to be banned for 30 mins ?

So, if you admit that you advertised means that you deserve the ban. If I was the one who put the rules I would have left you give them the IP, but trial mods are given rules and must follow, one of them is banning who advertises his/her server. I actually didn’t want to ban you, but I had to ask higher ranked mods and one of them told me that I need to temp ban you for 30 minutes. Not because you waned people to play on your sever means that you should give them the IP and you can go play with them, there are ways that will allow it like skype. That’s what I wanted to do before: To test my server by inviting people to the server, and good thing I asked a mod if it was allowed first, your case, on the other hand, is different. You asked my permission to give people the IP and I said no, but you gave the IP anyway, so that is not abusing my perms.

yea but its not advertising on the whole server ik its wrong but y I’m not allowed to player with my friends and be happy about it. i don’t advertise b/c i want to. its because i want to play with some friends. and they r on my server atm playing happily.

Seriously dyenxunit? If he asked a higher rank and that mod said yes then he had every right to ban you.

i only created this is b/c i think that u should have rights to tell ur friends to play on a server u own that u won’t advertise to the whole server. and ik it was wrong to say but in /tc no one can monitor u except a mod which i don’t think he’s makes a good 1 tbh

Well,saying the IP is advertising. And if you think that Oreo should get demoted because he followed the rules,you should double-check the rules. Next time,give your friends your Skype and say the ip via Skype. And consider yourself lucky that it was just a 30 minutes ban.

i don’t know these people irl i only know them from the EC server they just wanted to play around and my parents don’t allow me to get Skype. and as i said before ik its advertising. but common really in TC if there was no mod in a town and u told that ip to ur friends no one would give a ….

Ok,if you can’t get Skype then..why can you get Minecraft? xD
Erm, try getting another chat program then,idk. Just don’t do it in the server.
And nobody would care because nobody would see it.
