If you did not I am guessing if you delete the minecraft jar right now a new one will be generated. Sorry if this is wrong.

So i can guarantee 100% that the client is virus free. And where is the evidence to show this if you did virus scans i would love to see them because i know for sure that the client is not a virus.

Anyways, if you want to do the manual installing you are welcome to do so or if you want to remove the client you can just force update
