Rename it minecraft not minecraft.jar, just straight minecraft. Now after you do that, open your bin folder in the .minecraft folder. After that take the minecraft jar file in the bin folder and delete it. replace it with the ec client renamed to mincraft. Now your ec client should work! 😀
