Okay, so I’ve seen this on the survival server a lot recently and it really irritates me. A lot of players are usually bugging mods to help them. They aren’t showing much respect. They just go,” HEY [insert random moderator name here] HELP ME OUT HERE DAMNIT!” Okay not exactly like that, but still I don’t see many people really grateful. I mean sure you can feel grateful for what the moderators are doing, however…..it seems we should at least show them some appreciation for what they’ve done since they do more behind the scenes than most of us know of.

Maybe starting today, try and say Please or Thank you to a moderator when you ask them for help and when they help you accomplish a task. I mean, its only maybe a sign to show them you are thankful for their help and even though its just 1 second, it could mean a lot to them. I’d like to encourage all the members on the server to try this out.

Did you guys know that not even one of these moderators are paid. These moderators are doing labor for free, and spending their time and resources helping you out. These guys not are doing a job like “we can” but they do it like “we’re the best!” So we should really appreciate it.

I would say, a lot of members do say thanks at the end after helping them. Some don’t and it’s not a big deal, but like helping a person who don’t usually talk in general chat is pretty good.

What rogue said is true…. We do try our best to help and yep.

The thing is wither, I want to encourage people to at least maybe say it once in a while. I want the mods to at least feel appreciated. I hate when people seem to treat mods as if they are just there to satisfy them. The moderators are people too. Again I just want them to feel appreciated. Even if it is or isn’t a big deal to say thanks or not, I still want people to try it out.

I think that thanking a moderator is essential, although mods usually really didn’t mind, it’s their job to help other people after all. But I do know that if people does not thank a moderator for helping them, they show some disrespect. However, it is still exceptional. But I think it’s best to thank them 😀
