Which is most likely a hoax and if it is not how are we suppose to get sponge and is it true? Cause I have a town that I probably spent more than 5 million on.

I also need to know that is it safe if we put chests in town and the stuff will still be there after update? Do I need to put items in enderchest? Thanks these are all the questions I have!
